Twenty questions worth taking to a project sales office

A useful visit ends with a documented answer or a clearly open question.

01

About the unit

Ask: Which unit number and phase is available? What are its carpet and quoted areas? Which floor and facing? What is outside each window now? Which finishes are included? Can I inspect an equivalent unfinished or finished unit? What may change before handover?

02

About the project

Ask: What is the registration number for this phase? Which approvals and current plans can I review? Which amenities will operate at handover? What is the present water arrangement? What happens with parking allocation? Who manages the community before association handover?

03

About the money and timeline

Ask: What is the dated all-in quote? Which charges are estimates? What is the payment milestone schedule? What is the agreement possession date? What are the booking refund terms? Which lenders have evaluated this exact phase, and what remains for my own loan approval?

04

About follow-up

Ask for answers by email, along with the brochure version, floor plan, cost sheet and draft agreement. Mark any answer that was only verbal. A careful salesperson will understand why you need a record.
